There was some more action on the birdfeeder this afternoon. It was of the squirrel variety, so I had to go intervene. As soon as I chase the squirrels off, it's a free-for-all with the birds.
This Tufted Titmouse makes me laugh.
I'm afraid I'm spoiling this juvenile Cardinal.
I had three Cardinals on cleanup duty. I could only get two in the shot at the same time. In the first pic you can see a male and a female. I think the other two are females. They all have the orange beak, not the gray like the juvenile.
I think I have all the Titmice in the neighborhood. I watch them take turns at the feeder. When I walk around, I can hear them twittering up in the trees.
I gotta say, I really like these Carolina Chickadees. They seem pretty friendly.
