I used that line in class once and my middle school students looked at me like I had three heads! I had to go to the Internet and find the commercial to show them it. That lead to looking at other old commercials like I'm a pepper, where's the beef, and my bologna has a first name. Their exit pass was naming a current commercial that stuck with them. Not the lesson planned that day but a fun learning experience. Later that month when we had a lot of repeat practice to do, one of the boys asked, Is it time to make the donuts?
