My first attempt at removing a bloom stalk. It's been almost 2 weeks, and there is certainly new growth. I can't tell weather they're offsets or additional flower stalks. Anyone recognize this new growth?

This is 'Nanette'. Her surgery was right around the same time. She's not taking it as well as the noid above.
I was hoping to force a rosette or 2. I've only had this heuff. for a couple months.
The removed flower stalks of both were simply placed in the surrounding soil. Both are pushing out closed blooms.
