Thought I would come back and update the goings on with this seed pod. I found it laying on the ground the other day and here it is now. The scape expired before the pod dried as normal but a few of the ones crossed this year have done that.

Upon opening the chambers, some normal looking seed were present with a few being spoiled.

I guess the verdict will come in SEP when I try to get these to germinate.
