Someone on the yahoo lilium group had a Lilium superbum that was 12 ft, but of course not nearly as many flowers as silk Road. This is why I resisted growing that species, preferring the smaller, almost identical Lilium michiganense. I resisted until Joe Nemmer offered me some seed from his gorgeous stands. So now I have some plantlets from 2008 seed.

Anthony, first sprouts look like bullets?
