Yep, you made it two days between panic attacks Hilarious!

Eventually the scape will rot, but that's normal. It doesn't mean the prolif will also rot. It has some roots appearing so should be fine. If you're familiar with the technique of air layering you could root the prolif without cutting it off until it is well rooted.
