Same here Polly. I dug out all of my irises along with the lilies (how did I ever get so ambitious??). I flopped them all up on the lawn so I could rework the soil. THEN I pulled the labels out. Needless to say, most went back in without labels. But I think I can figure it out when they bloom again since I only keep my most favorite ones now.

I have to say most of my lilies don't move laterally much. My S-1 really amazed me though. By the way all of my S's are David Sims seedlings, hence the S prefix. I had to go to this method because essentially all of my original plastic labels with lot numbers were pulled out by jays within the first year I planted them! Those dang birds!!
