I'd rather have the snow cover than have it melt, get cold and have nothing to protect my plants. In Wisconsin, Spring never comes this early, but we are all so desperate for green that, when the first thaw begins, we think our Spring has sprung. Heck, last week we had temps in the 50s and there were folks wearing shorts.

So although I get tired of the season, I know it gives me and the plants some garden rest. Instead I get to watch my girls play basketball, the Badger Women play basketball and cross country ski, all of which I have come to enjoy very much. Spring is around the corner and I look forward to that too, as always. It will be here before we know it and all of those pictures of your beautiful gardens shall be shared and loved.

Hang in there Jo. Smiling
