Fledgling blue bird
The other day the dog & I were coming back form checking the mail & walking past the fig bush I happened to spy a fledgling blue bird sitting there just as still & quiet as can be. I took the dog in the house, grabbed my camera & went back to see if I could get photos. It was so much in shadows there that honestly, I couldn't see a thing in the LCD on the camera & had no idea if I was getting the bird or not. In the first photo you have to look at the center bottom & you can only see it's head there. Then it got freaky & hopped out into the tall grass where I did manage to get a few shots. Mom & Dad were in the sycamore tree above & getting very upset with me pursuing their darling child. They even got so upset they began to dive at my head.
I didn't want to disturb them anymore so left them to their own.
Oh shoot! I see the head is partially obscured by my copyright stuff.
