I have been checking out numerous daylilies on the daylily database and have noticed some real differences in images for the same named daylily. Wondering just how accurate these images are and why there are some that look so different from each other .

Just as an example are the images for "Tangled Web " daylily.

Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Tangled Web')

Even taking into account the differences in soil and weather in different parts of the country , three of the images look similar but the other 3 look nothing like the other 3 . Does anyone verify the images on the database or is it more a case of anyone can post any image in the database.

Just a curiousity question . I don't particularly want to use inaccurate images to compare to the plants I have here . That just makes for mass confusion .

Thanks to anyone who can contribute some input into this
