Sorry - no pic. Camera broke. Grumbling

I have searched high and low with search engines to no avail.

Smallish butterfly approximately 1 inch across.

Orangish/Brown

What is very distinctive is it has a set of wings that are held flat. Then it has another set of wings above that set and the second set sweep at a 45 degree angle. Looks like a jet fighter design.

Any ideas?

On my evening walk I saw dozens of them. 3 were sitting next to each other on a Butterfly Bush and looked light a fighter squadron. I have observed many of them for the past month plus.
