I've learned this past year that I have Verticillium Wilt on this new property...sigh...it's been interesting to see what has and has not succumbed so far. Did you have male and female trees for nut production?
Yay! Sooby.....I thought there must be someone up in your area that would have it...and in a much better size than 4", especially since it is apparently slow growing.
