I googled that and came up with so many cycads that all look the same to me. Encephalartos transvenosus is also a candidate as are various others. I wish I knew how botanists know what they are growing or looking at. Maybe I should wait a little to see how this thing grows up. At this point I don't even remember where or when I got it.

I have another large fern which grows in the back in the excess water my RO system creates. It's a biggy and I've seen it grow in water.
