Here are my last two daylily blooms of the season (other than rebloom). They are 'Green Flutter'" and the photo was taken just before dark tonight after a two-day heatwave, with temperatures well into the 90s.

'Green Flutter' is usually a fluorescent yellow/green in my garden. I'm not sure whether the gold color of the flowers that bloomed today is due to the extreme heat, the time of day or drought. I love this old cultivar because of its long bloom period, clean foliage and the eye-catching fluorescent color of the blooms.
