I have one like the first two, only these are better. If I was to buy one now I'd get #2. I don't think they had one like that when I got mine quite a few years ago. The leader hose connection looks to be MUCH heavier than mine, which hasn't worked for years. Leaked, etc. and all that assorted jazz. LOL I've tried several different "Mom engineering" things to get a functioning leader hose type thing again, but no dice. Mine doesn't have a basket either, but it does hold 400 feet of hose, which is a necessity for me since I have to run a hose from the shop water hydrant to the g'house in the winter to fill my water tank. If memory serves, I did get it from Northern, but like I said, they weren't this good or nice 10 or more years ago.
