I wanted to pop in and say hi. I CANNOT believe I have daylilies blooming in Aug. I don't think I 've ever had rebloom this late before.
I got strawberry gomphrena in a trade this spring and it 's still going strong even after dry July. Oh Larry, my Mexican sunflower is blooming. You remember I was fretting over it being a short plant, well it can look me in the eye now.
Hedychium gingers are putting on their display, some cannas. My castor plant set seed, I had to get a 10 ft ladder to pick them.
Profusion zinnia are magnificent.
Stone that was a great looking watermelon! Drooling
