I'm a garden judge and visit Bob's garden every year to see what performs well since we are in the same region and he grows a lot of cultivars....not only his own but other hybridizer's plants as well. His garden is at a higher elevation than mine and closer to a zone 6 climate because he has more snow and harsher conditions. I've never seen daylilies grown better than Bob grows them!! Everything is well watered and rust free with flawless foliage and many of his cultivars have followed me home over the last 10 years. Bob is very generous in what he sells....gives a hefty division of what you purchased plus generous gift plants. The reason you don't see many awards is because Bob is very modest and didn't nominate his plants until recent years. But ALL of his introductions are very award worthy because he has very strict standards on what he introduces. He has some of the best plants I've ever seen under those faces that are exactly as pictured. Plus they are hardy in our wonky freeze/thaw weather!!! He has Facebook specials for bargain hunters so check out his Facebook page that can been seen even if you aren't a member of Facebook. I've mail ordered from him, too.....he gives fast shipping and has good communication each and every time. You will not be disappointed with anything you get from Bob Selman.
