First thing you should do is take the seedling out of the pot you have it growing in. It does not like to compete with other plants. Sour sop trees grow fast given adequate warmth, water, nutrients, and light. I have grown seeds in 6" wide but deep nursery pots and within one year they grew to about 2 feet.
In the ground they can produce in less than 3 years. In a bonsai-growing treatment, I don't know how long it would take to produce fruit. I have a seedling in a small pot right now...I think I'll experiment and try doing the bonsai treatment on it as it grows.
