I did write in and say I had this wrong. That is all I will say on that. I do not have the ins and outs posting or removing figured out. But I will ask the Experts to remove my posts, and happily. I am sorry to have found My Elija Blues are not all Elija Blues, here in front of you all.

It is Beyond Blue. But under these circumstances, I would not take my word for it either. I only just realized I have two varieties of Blue Fescue, and it has been a long slow realization as these plants are just so very similar, but different.

I purchased 7 of them all at the same time under the name Elijah Blue. All tags just said Blue Fescue. They had to find two more in the back for me, and I believe that is where the slip occurred.

As small plants adjusting to my landscape I noticed right away the plants were dissimilar but it honestly is so slight, I chalked it up to culture, as some got more shade, some more water. Some got lovely amended holes, and some were not as lucky. It has only been last season and this season, I really became committed to deciding what was up with my grasses.
They are so easy to move that last year I purposely put ones I suspected were different, just a foot apart, in 4 different locations in the flower beds. Side by side, one would remain upright with straight blades a foot away the other was lounging along the soil in a soft sleepy mound. After a few trips to nurseries, where I compared their Beyond's to their Elijas, I felt confident, that Beyond Blue, which I never heard of was in my yard.

I am so sorry about this, and assure you I do not own anything that is so similar that I could make this embarrassing mistake again. I think the best thing to do is to remove all my fescue entries. I was crabby with the nursery for yet another mix up, because I am obsessive about knowing the name of my plants, even my weeds. I hate to have been a source of confusion, leaving some to feel the way it feels when we realize the nursery mislabeled a plant again, and I am less than certain what I am growing.

From what I can see, I am not able to remove these on my own, but will request it today. Perhaps someone can start a thread asking for pics of Elija, and pics of Beyond as a way to assist people feeling they have a good id of their plants.

Sorry all. I love it here, I hope I don't get kicked to the curb. Crossing Fingers! It was a realization for me that unfolded while new here. I love looking at others plant lists. The reality is, I believe I know what is what, but I would really feel better if your verification came from others who have not had an issue with id as I have.

My sons and their sig others drove down from Everett, so I please allow me to take care of this as soon as they settle in and I have a some time to myself.
