Thank you all for thinking of me, luckily we are far from the earthquake zone.
Italy is narrow and long and apart from the north there's a long chain of mountains that goes all the country long and it's quite sismic.
Since italy it's so narrow many villages and small cities are built in impervious zones, and are really old and hystorical places. You can imagine a medieval village was not built with the modern criteria. It's also difficult for helpers to get quickly there.

It's a tragedy, I'm reading 247 deaths. And another big shake this early morning.

We are in a quite safe place, north east, even if the east is at risk too.

The relics are still intact this morning Hilarious! I thought about making pottery too!

Sue, I will sure add organic matter before using the bed. I added a good amount of horse manure in an another small bed and after four months I can see the soil has already got better.
These are busy days, so I'm letting native soil upside down and make clay get dry so I can break it better before adding something else.
I'm curious about sand too, it should help a bit.

Thank for everything!
