Connie, in the winter I forget how much work it was ... so nice to be able to haul out a jar of beets or some frozen beans or whatever to have with supper... and the salsa and tomato sauce and canned tomatoes and tomato juice, so much better than buying supermarket tomatoes in the winter!! My biggest problem is that I want to do it all... and apparently my age is catching up to me, because my energy levels just don't match up to my aspirations for everything I want to get done! I do grow some flowers, but I'm afraid they get very neglected as the veggie garden starts producing Rolling my eyes.
