I have noticed these spiky things that seem to be growing out of the leaves on a maple tree. I got in touch with someone in pest control, he told me that it is a type of beetle egg and the type of beetles that hatch eat and destroy wood and that the bugs will end up eating my wood house! I've been doing tons of research and have yet to find anything relatively close to what my exterminator says, so I'm not sure what I should do, I figured maybe you can help me with some answers!?!
