I'm on the lookout for a Hoku Gem to replace the one from my original collection...all eyes on deck as you go to the shows in your area! ...and that Phrag.Sorcerer's Fire is stunning! When it sends out more spikes..do they come from the base of the plant?..or in-between the leaves? I am really enjoying the continuous blooming of my Phrag. Umbriel. It's currently on bloom 3 and 4 with what looks like another bud on the way. The reason I ask about your spikes is that now I see something coming up from the base of the plant and just assumed it was the next plant emerging, like the Oncidiums do.
