Well, they are 3 years old so I think should be established, they just need to be happy and it is my job to make them happy. We have a huge compost pile, so in the fall I will give them some, and as I mentioned before more water so they do not dry out, but not stand in a puddle either. And I will have to research when and how much and how often to fertilize.
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
