I believe Peruvian Daffodils are genus Ismene. There are about 16 Hymenocallis native to the US and 1 exotic. Mostly southern states, but Hymenocallis occidentalis can be found as far north as southern Illinois and Indiana, I think around zones 6a or 6b.
