I have a plant that has a similar name to one that's in the Plant Database. Rather than risking typos (who me?), I took a picture of the label. Sorry but you'll have to click on it to see the whole label.

The closest pepper I've found in the database is Capsicum annuum var. glabriusculum.

So - before I think that the 2 are different and do something silly like posting it to the Plant Database, I thought it would be a good idea to ask first. Here are 2 pictures of my plant.

I know, I know. Better camera, better eyes could result in a better picture but what you see is what I've got. In the bottom of the bottom picture you can see a small white flower. That becomes the green fruit that later turns red (but not bigger) and if you want to eat any you'll have to beat the birds to 'em.

So what do y'all think I should do? Piggyback onto the existing plant or create a new one? Thanks for your expert advice.
