Has anybody found a good red one for up north? The people that I know have not had flowers on Paris or Forever & Ever Red. I would like to try Ruby Slippers but have not seen it for sale around here. I want to see it because many of the pictures online look more pink then red.

I knew I had a better picture of a Ruby Slippers bloom! Please ignore the weeds in this bed... it got totally ignored this year! This plant was sold as Gatsby Star, but is Ruby Slippers. I stuck it out in this bed just to keep it alive for the year. This one gets quite a bit of sun, while the other two are more shaded. I think you'd like it if you found a nice plant. It's a very good grower in my sandy gardens.
