Love this double daylily. I purchased it in 2008. I transplanted it a couple years after that to get it into a better location. Because of increase since 2010, I dug it up and transplanted it last year (2015). A couple of the fans did bloom this year. I fully expect next year to see lots of blooms from FSS. It does get to the registered height (24") and bloom size (5"). Although it is an evergreen, it does very nicely in my zone 5a garden.

Time of day and amount of light, for picture taking, seems to make a difference in the appearance of color. The second picture is true to the color I get in my garden.

2016 picture: Perhaps needs more growing time to look fuller as the next picture when it was more established.
