My seedlings are starting to flower. I have a problem with some of them toppling - becoming disconnected from their roots. This one I staked to try and get it through to blooming but last night the scape must have snapped. I continued the scape in sugar and water today.

These are taken by flash tonight. The colour is about right - a muddy orangey red. Lol.

Parents VOLARIS X OLD TANGIERS. This is the first of my seedlings to flower where I actually did the pollinating and not a bee. Not a glorious start. This one took 6 months from germination to flowering



PS Added. I was all ready for BORN TO BE WILD genes to come shining through. For them, I bought VOLARIS. Sniff.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
