So after they are done blooming we leave the stem with the little leaves to feed the bulb -- got it....

Now, I have these in a container right now (cause I couldn't decide where to plant the bulbs this spring)... when can I transplant these to their permanent location? Also can I cut the stem back before I do that or should I take both the bulb and stem?

Thanks!
