So far, the photo of Open My eyes seemed like exactly what I wanted, until I checked into it further and found that it is described as 'orange'. Yesterday I was checking out Sabine Bauer, which I also thought might be a good choice. The daylily in the photo I first posted seems to have a picotee (thin) edge rather than a very thick edge, and appears to be a darker, blue or black shade of purple.
That will vary depending on soil and climate. Here, OME is rather cream and TAL OF GASCONE rather orange.
