Susan, I go to all the finest nurseries in Fl. Lowes and Home Depot.
Really they have some beautiful plants that are just ordinary to the Fl. gardeners (I guess) but are wonderful to this northern girl. Instead of buying 4in pots with newly rooted bougies I got gallon containers for half the price as I would have paid here. I got some great plants down there that I had never seen before. African Milk Bush and Hawaiian portulaca. I picked up a pancake Kalanchoe for 1/3 of the price as the one in at my local nursery and it was bigger and in nicer condition.
I stopped at a couple of road side nurseries just too look at the different varities of Hibs and I bought a beautiful orchid at one of the flea markets.
