Name: Holly
Minneapolis, MN (Zone 4b)
I just started growing daylilies this spring (my new neighborhood has tons of rabbits, and I was looking for rabbit resistant plants). I had no idea the variety and beauty of modern daylilies! Now I have 14 or so cultivators already and can't stop adding them Big Grin
I am in zone 4b and was going to place an order with Maryotts in the spring, however with them closing down I hurried and placed an order for 8 new plants this week.
I'm a little worried about planting outdoors in late September in Minnesota. Should I try to plant them and mulch them well, or would it be better to over winter them in pots in our house, and plant outdoors in the spring? Any opinions?
