Did that already; the point is that I've seen a number of members saying things are taking too many "clicks" now, and this is one of those things.
Maybe the links could be on the side again instead of the top? The "links bar" at the top also cuts off the top of the first post that I see when I go to the "first unread" post in a forum, so that I have to scroll to see who made the post.
Both are minor issues, at any rate.
