Thanks, guys! it is always easier to keep the "snicker" out of a compliment online, than it is in person!
I also stocked up on colored candleholders, but I only used them with candles. The ones I spotted were quite low, suited to tea candles.
Notice how some are cheap, with the color just painted on, instead of being colored glass?
