Rez, thanks for asking the question whether you can bring live plants to the US. The responses and information that is listed above will help me in finding phone numbers to call when I go on vacation next year to Alaska. This will help me in my research as to how much it would be for the cost of a sanitary certificate etc. to send plants cross country to New York City. Doubt that I will come across a nursery or greenhouse that will send the plants ahead of me. I am sure that I will want a special orchid or begonia.
