William - so glad to hear about the Palazzo! I have had Globemaster before and it bloomed right behind a red Asiatic lily and it has always been a favorite combination! I have one now blooming at the same time behind a yellow iris. I have had many alliums in the past and loved that they seem to bloom at different times than the other things in the garden, plus the deer and bunnies don't like them! They are also very unique in their shapes and sizes. I'm checking out your martagon lilies - not familiar with them at all but your photos are quite lovely
