if I right click the mail icon and choose open link in new tab or page , it does duplicate the page I am on
because we are trying to open a pop up window in a new full window tab , so your browser duplicates the nearest full page I'm guessing.
BUT if I just left click the icon a site pop up windows appears and I can right click and choose "open in a new tab" on any of the links in it just fine.
