E. 'Leia' was the 1st in the series and is the one most readily available. I've yet to see the others in the big box stores. I've never gotten around to germinating seeds of eucomis, so I'm not sure how difficult it is, but any seed germination is an accomplishment to be commended, as it means a new life. Thumbs up Since it is fall and most plants are slowly going dormant, I would recommend waiting until spring to transplant them as the root system can sustain damage and if the plant is not actively growing won't be able to repair itself in order to continue sustaining the leaves. Bringing the pot in over winter the 1st year to keep the plants from going completely dormant and to avoid frost damage is a good idea.

It will be a while before the plant is mature enough to bloom, as a bulb has to form beforehand. Perhaps @JMorth will be better able to advise you, as he grows several of these beautiful plants. Keep us posted of your plants progress.
