Thanks everyone :D
CindiKS T budding sounds like a great project! If my multiflora roots stock makes it through the winter I'll be doing the same next year! I've watched 3 really good videos on it and it looks like fun! I Have a standard of Neil Diamond, who had a bit of dieback here and there. I've been thinking of grafting on a second color but it might be nice just to even him out with some of his own buds.
And yes Sunnyvalley, they do have Blue for You in them, along with the fuller magenta colored one. Actually the three are sibs. I love Blue for you! It doesn't get touched by black spot, at least not with any of the strains here. The dusty purple is, I think, the closest roses have come to blue so far, especially when they age. My Seedlings aren't an improvement on the original yet but I'm hoping next generation they pick up more petals. Of course it will have to wait till next season. Most of my hips were lost during our odd weather and I didn't store pollen like should have, and my roses didn't cooperate and bloom at the same time. Lucky for me I have a lot of selfs to play with, and I met another hybridizer who was quite happy to give me some of his castoffs. The first and and the yellowish one are his. I'm really excited about the button eyed pale yellow one. That pic is actually its first bloom and it has since changed to a peachy color and stayed that way, the little guy is a blooming machine and its blooms last a very very long time while remaining fresh and fragrant. I'm just hoping the little guy doesn't over do it and put all his energy into blooms and not develop enough roots, I keep snipping buds and another one appears
