P.S. I would urge you to offer gardening and other books. There are no copyright issues unless you stole the books in the first place!
The only prohibition I know about re-selling books is that,
if you are a book store and signed certain contracts with publishers, they would send you new paperback books but allow you to "return them as unsold" by just
tearing off the front covers and mailing THOSE back to the publishers. The contracts specify that you may NOT sell or give away the rest of the book, that you must destroy the books to get the refund. It was not worth the money to ship them back to the publisher and return them to the warehouse.
