I've sent seeds to the UK and to the Netherlands without issue before, does Switzerland have strict rules about seeds?

Sharlene, thanks for that explanation, now its making more sense to me. I like your idea of budding as if I was going for a standard, then I would most likely air layer it right under the bud union. I doubt I'll dabble much with standards because of the need for winter protection, but now I realize how I can use an established plant to bud onto multiple times to get multiple plants. Thumbs up
