my sentiments exactly and what better way to pass the time during the winter months ahead
Mike - don't think Tony Bracegirdle's wife, Alice, would appreciate that?
On a serious note, Tony Bracegirdle is a very accomplished amateur hybridizer.

Suzanne - gorgeous blooms. Love the iris and that foxglove is beautiful - haven't ever seen one quite like it.
Not much left to show in the way of blooms in the garden here. I might still see a couple of roses and one or two iris bloom. I have a few stalks but they probably won't open if the weather stays cool. I actually started the cutting back yesterday. Got rids of all the yellow hosta leaves and if the rain lets up today, I plan to do the asters and phlox. Otherwise, it's going to be a lazy Sunday .....
