@Lestv since i didn't pay too much attention to my spaceagers in the past, Shrug! the first one i can recall ( in my garden) off the top of my head was 'blue fin'. i cannot recall it lacked the fin part. Hilarious!

what you are describing as earlier or later, does the happen on the same blossom? or is this happening to different blossoms on the same stalk? (pls explain. since i was such a dolt on the nuances of irises). mostly, i was into ikebana, and growing all things plants and flowers as color, form and textures for my arrangements.

i was into the 'end product' and not the process. D'Oh!

Lovey dubby i now have time to enjoy the process of fruition nodding .
