LindaTX8 said:Sorry about your beautiful kitty, Sheri! Where I live there are frequent dog problems...people think that here in the country you can let the dogs roam a bit. Recently, one of our neighbors got a new dog, a Saint Bernard. The dog somehow decided that the back half of our property is part of their place. So when they let him out, he guards it, which means I can't go on the back of my own property...he barks aggressively and won't back down. I don't think he would bite me...he's just confused and wants to be a good guard dog so his owners will be proud of him. Last weekend, he was doing this while I tried to check my property and I heard his owner call him several times, but they never came over to get him, so I gave up. I couldn't even go talk to them because the dog was loose. Too bad I don't have their phone #! He also is aggressive when he sees my cats...that worries me. I take most of the cats in at night, but let them out during the day.

You need to drive over to see them if necessary. You can't let the dog keep you off your own property!!
