It's hard to pick favorites, Lowell....so I'll just say these are some that were relatively new to my garden that are shaping up to be superior plants!
This is DAVE (Santa Lucia 14) which has an enormous bloom on husky, vigorous plants. Interesting because it comes from a long line of Tet LAURA HARWOOD breeding. It's totally sun fast and set pods very easily with a "show quality" bloom every time.
JACK FROST AND THE HOODED CROW from Bob O'Neal (2015 intro).....a great plant with a wonderful scape that rebloomed twice. It changes color and varies from day to day, season to season. Very pretty and distinctively unique
LOVE SCULPTURE (Hanson 15) A breathtakingly beautiful bloom!!! I was disappointed that it wasn't as tall as registered but after bloom season was finished, the plant really took off making huge husky fans so I think it hasn't settled in yet and will show its full potential next year.
Can't wait to see it next year. Some of Curt's take longer to establish because they need enormous root systems to support his best scapes.
CHETOLA (Hensley 15) Dale Hensley has one of the best programs for sun fast reds and this is one of his best so far. It's a wonderful dormant plant and the blooms are perfect every time.
