Julie, I did mean Arctic Lace for my pick and photo. Perhaps Mantis misread the name. I often did that myself between Arctic Lace and Arctic Snow. You are right that Arctic Lace is finicky and slow to grow the first few years. It took 4 years for Arctic Lace to really outperform this past summer, starting blooming in late June and ending in early August.
