I have been enjoying the process of seed collecting and swapping for a few years now. I did put some instructions on some of mine, certainly not all.
I don't feel it is necessary, and I do not expect it. It's just fun for me to try and find the info, I need it anyway.
Last year I was in two seed swaps. I made a file in my computer with info, and improved it this year. That way I can save it from year to year, and add to it as needed. When it comes time to make packets and label them I can print out the labels, tape them on, so it is easy. But I am happy with pretty much anything. There is a guy named Duane in Oregon (not in this swap) who is amazing, he has all kinds of seeds he saves, he will send seeds in a taped scrap of paper with the name scrawled on. That works great too! So don't stress about it.
