Plants get a little tough as to eating after a while , the cold makes most taste a little better , I take a raw bite or two , not much though,

Some plants ,some places , are better , naturally adapted as they are .
Greens are often easy to grow , good taste , they are nutritious resilient to problems , (especially in cold season ,) Can't ask anything more than that ,
Breeding gives nicer leaves often , but mutation brings question ,
Besides if you see it happen ,adaptation is fun with plants

I should of said , forced mutation
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
