Rene: I see Armadillo's on occasion digging in my yard. I was told years ago that they dig burrows to stay out of the sun but if they are digging up your plants/lawn they are probably after grubs. Find something to kill the grubs, and the Armadillo's will find someplace else to dine. http://www.wildlife.pro/diggin...

This guy/gal was digging in my backyard. They are so ugly they're cute ... or maybe this is a face only a mama could love?

They look like they can't move very fast but they do run pretty good and usually do when approached. This one was a bit slow and I was surprised I could walk right behind him taking his picture! Bye Bye ...
